Creating Animated Titles for Philly’s Music Video Showcase
Each year, Philadelphia’s Music Video Showcase partners up with the Philanimators to create fun animated titles for their events. Using the color palette provided and inspiration from the event’s theme, I created looping animations that were screened at the events. It’s a wonderful way to bring the local animation community together and support Philadelphia’s up and coming music artists.

“Love” - 2025
The theme of the 2025 winter Music Video Showcase was “Love” with a valentine’s day inspired color palette. I was inspired by the look and feel of hand made valentines day cards and collage style animations.
“Summer” - 2024
The theme of the 2024 summer Music Video Showcase was “Summer” with a vibrant color palette. I wanted to try to push a 3D look using only After Effects to create plastic pool toys. It was so fun to try out different methods and polish it off with a subtle bobbing effect to mimic the movement of the water.
